Description
Day 1
Begin your adventure with a pickup from your hotel. Cross the Penang Bridge and head to Perai, Chai Leng Park or Butterworth for a traditional dim sum or Indian breakfast. Savor the flavors of this culinary haven that mirrors the diversity of Penang.
Next, visit the Bukit Merah Orangutan Island, where you can learn about these fascinating creatures and their similarities to humans.
Stop for a quick lunch around Taiping and taste famous dishes like nasi kandar, char koay teow, chicken rice and mee goreng.
After lunch, cruise to Cameron Highlands via the North-South PLUS Highway. Enjoy the scenic drive through winding roads, offering stunning views of the highlands.
Arrive in Cameron Highlands and take a short tour at the Boh Tea Centre which is widely recognized as the oldest tea plantation in Malaysia. Enjoy the beauty of the tea plantation and learn about the tea-making process. Continue to the Boh Tea Plantation, one of the most iconic attractions in Cameron Highlands. Enjoy a holistic tea experience against a beautiful backdrop of undulating tea fields.
End the day by dropping travelers at their hotel.
Day 2:
Pick up guests from their hotel and stop briefly for breakfast near Tanah Rata.
Visit Cameron Valley Plantation and Cafe, one of the most popular spots in Cameron Highlands. Experience the unique flavor profile of Cameron Valley Tea, a perfect blend of heritage and innovation. Enjoy a scenic buggy ride in Cameron Valley. Here you can view the wonderful surrounding valley and beautiful natural viewpoints.
Next, explore Tanah Rata, Brinchang or Ringlet, a classic Cameron Highlands town for a lunch and enjoy a variety of Indian food or noodle dishes at a Chinese kopitiam and savor classic Hainanese kopi and crispy kaya toast in the cool weather.
On the way back, we will visit a strawberry farm, bee farm or lavender garden. Pick fresh berries, learn about honeybees, or explore vibrant lavender fields.
Afterwards we will return via the Simpang Pulai route along North-South PLUS Highway towards Penang
On the return journey, stop at Ipoh or Taiping. In Ipoh, explore iconic limestone cave temples and colonial-era charm in the Old Town. Alternatively, enjoy a relaxed nature-focused trip in Taiping with the scenic Lake Gardens, zoo, and heritage sites.
End your tour with a drop-off at your hotel.
Take note: A road trip from Penang to Cameron Highlands typically takes 8 hours two way, traffic can extend the journey. It is indeed a long, winding, and ascending route featuring narrow roads, which is not suitable for those prone to motion sickness or who dislike mountainous & twisty driving.

- BOH Tea Centre (Sungei Palas Garden) is closed on Mondays, except for selected public and school holidays
- Photo & video shootings are strictly not allowed in the Boh Tea Factory
