Begin your journey with a scenic drive from Penang Island coastal roads through Penang Bridge and driving towards Perai to discover the most delicious local traditional breakfast. There are bunch of good food with a varieties of tasty options to satisfy your cravings. After enjoyed your food, we will directly cruising along PLUS North-South highway towards Ipoh and exit at Simpang Pulai for a safer, wider and less winding route compared to the old Tapah road. Cameron Highlands, known for its cool air, lush tea plantations and scenic stops. Take a tour of Boh's first and Heritage Tea Factory and Centre where you can enjoy the beauty of the tea plantation and learn about the tea-making process. Drop by for a cup of tea and a tour while experiencing the beautiful estate of Cameron Highlands. Afterwards, we will visit Kea farm which is a popular agricultural market in Cameron Highlands. It is known for fresh strawberries, vegetables, sweet corn, flowers, local snacks and souvenir. Next, visit the Cameron Highlands Strawberry Farm to pick fresh berries, enjoy sweet treats and explore hydroponic gardens. Alternatively, visit a bee farm for an educational experience, where you can learn about honeybees, see live hives and sample pure local honey products. Tanah Rata is the main town and administrative centre of Cameron Highlands. Easy access to attractions such as MARDI Agropark, Bharat Tea Plantation, strawberry farms and the Cameron Highlands night market. Tanah Rata has a good mix of local Malaysian food, Indian & Chinese cuisine and cafés. Cameron Valley Tea House 2 is one of 3 such teahouses under Bharat Tea Plantations where you can walk down to the tea plantation from the roadside tea house. It’s not free to enter the plantation but what’s nice is that there is a buggy service available for those with walking difficulties. Stop at the Cameron Lavender Garden, a popular attraction known for its vibrant purple fields, cool mountain air and lavender-themed products. On the return journey, make a memorable stop at Ipoh, which offers iconic limestone cave temples and colonial-era charm in the Old Town, including Concubine Lane and cafe hopping. A road trip from Penang to Cameron Highlands typically takes long hours, traffic can extend the journey. It is indeed a long, winding, and ascending route featuring narrow roads, which is not suitable for those prone to motion sickness or who dislike mountainous & twisty driving.
