Description
Day 1
Begin with a hotel pickup in Penang. Cross the Penang Bridge and stop in Perai or Butterworth for a traditional dim sum or Indian breakfast. Choose to visit either Penang Bird Park, home to 300 bird species, or Bukit Merah Orangutan Island to learn about orangutans and their behavior.
Have lunch around Perai, Bukit Merah, or Taiping, sampling local dishes such as nasi kandar, dim sum, char koay teow, chicken rice, and mee goreng. Visit Taiping’s Lake Gardens, zoo, and heritage sites for a nature-focused afternoon.
Drive to Cameron Highlands via the North-South PLUS Highway, enjoying views along winding roads. Upon arrival, tour the Boh Tea Centre and Boh Tea Plantation to understand tea production in an iconic setting.
The day ends with drop-off at your Cameron Highlands accommodation.
Day 2
After hotel pickup, have breakfast near Tanah Rata Town. Visit Cameron Valley Plantation and Café to taste their distinctive tea and enjoy a scenic buggy ride around the valley.
