Edelweiss Cafe is a Swiss Restaurant , possibly the one and only of its kind in Penang. It's just next to Cheah Kongsi at Armenian Street. Located in the heritage area of George Town, Edelweiss Café has recently gone through a renovation process. Today the place has eight dining tables and houses antique furniture and curious, interesting artefacts such as a huge, ancient clock with roman numerals, oldschool dim sum steamers, now-redundant kitchenware and an odd bronze sculpture of a man fishing from a toilet bowl. Edelweiss' charming ambience reflects the historical mood of Armenian Street. Perfect for people watching while sipping a cold drink.
