The food is very good with a varied menu. The entertainment by several ex-pats who just call in and settle for the night is most enjoyable. They play rock and roll classics that both young and old seem to enjoy, and it is not so loud that you can't carry on a conversation. A very good not out without breaking the bank. Just don't go on a Wednesday as it is closed.  For midday meal, the beef rendang comes well-recommended and on its own, garnered a loyal following amongst Batu Ferringhi tourists. If you prefer to unwind, Living Room switches to a more spirited tempo in the evenings where drinks are neatly-priced and live music is at play.
